The "iShenzhen" blockchain electronic license application platform has been launched

Recently, the Shenzhen Unified Government Service APP "iShenzhen" officially launched and released a blockchain electronic certificate application platform, which enables 24 commonly used electronic certificates such as resident identity cards to be put on the chain. On the basis of maximum protection of personal privacy, the inconvenience of enterprises and citizens carrying paper certificates for handling affairs will be greatly reduced, and it is expected to eliminate photocopies in handling affairs.

It is reported that the "iShenzhen" blockchain electronic certificate and license application platform supports various forms of certificate use, such as authorizing others to use certificates, offline hall window authorization for certificate use, and more. Offline service authorization for certificate use supports more than 100 high-frequency government service items. Next month, it will achieve full coverage of offline service window authorization for certificate use on the blockchain throughout the city. In the future, citizens and enterprises can authorize others to access electronic certificates and licenses at specific times, occasions, and businesses through direct authorization, QR code authorization, and other forms of authorization. Every step of using electronic certificates and licenses is recorded to ensure that all operations are traceable.

Liu Qingsheng, member of the Standing Committee of the Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee and Executive Vice Mayor, stated that the debut of the blockchain electronic certificate application platform in "iShenzhen" fully demonstrates the great potential of blockchain technology in innovation of government services, and the prospect of using blockchain technology to improve the level of government services is promising. The relevant departments in Shenzhen should increase the application of blockchain technology, accelerate the promotion of data exchange and information sharing, accelerate the expansion of blockchain+government service application scenarios, and truly realize the transition from "running errands for the masses" to "running errands for data".
